- 3 (10 oz.) pkg. shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 can creamed chicken soup mix
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 1/3 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. crushed corn flakes
Directions

1Brown the chopped onion with the 1/2 stick of margarine.

2Add chicken soup and milk, mixed together.

3Add grated Cheddar cheese; add salt.

4Combine this mixture with the hash brown potatoes; stir together.

5Put in 9 x 13-inch pan.

6Sprinkle crushed corn flakes stirred in melted butter on top.

7Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

8Do not cover.
