  • 3 lb. Cortland apples, sliced
  • cinnamon
  • sugar
  • lemon juice
  • stick of butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar

Directions

    Slice apples.

    Coat with lemon juice to prevent discoloring. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

    Crumble butter, flour and brown sugar with fingers over apples.

    Bake in a buttered pie plate

    at 450° for 10 minutes and then at 375° for 45 minutes.
