- 4 medium cooking apples, pared, cored and thinly sliced
- 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/4 c. hot water
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 3/4 c. quick oats
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. unsifted flour
- 1/4 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Grease 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.

2Place apples in pan.

3Mix corn syrup and hot water; pour over apples.

4Mix together margarine, oats, brown sugar, flour and salt until crumbs form. Stir in pecans.

5Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples.

6Bake in 350° oven 45 minutes.

7Makes 6 to 8 servings.
