- 1/2 to 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. rolled oats (uncooked)
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 4 to 5 apples, sliced (enough to fill an 8 x 8-inch pan or small cake pan)
- cinnamon and sugar (to sprinkle on apples)
Directions

1Combine brown sugar, butter, flour, oats, cinnamon and nutmeg together until crumbly.

2Slice apples thin (like you would for a pie).

3Sprinkle with some sugar and cinnamon; place in baking dish and cover apples with the crumb mixture.

4Bake at 350° to 375° for 30 minutes, until crumbs are brownish.
