  • 4 to 6 medium sized cooking apples
  • 1/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. quick or old-fashioned Quaker Oats, uncooked
  • 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/3 c. melted butter or margarine

Directions

    Peel, core and slice apples and place in ungreased baking dish.

    Combine dry ingredients; add melted margarine, mixing until crumbly.

    Sprinkle on top of apples.

    Bake in preheated moderate oven (375°) 30 minutes or until apples are tender.

    Serve with your favorite whipped topping.
