  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 1 qt. apples, cut fine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine

Directions

    Mix sugar and cinnamon together.

    Fill pie shell with 1/2 of apples; sprinkle with 1/2 of sugar and cinnamon.

    Add remaining apples and sugar and cinnamon.

    Mix flour, sugar and butter or margarine with fork until crumbly.

    Sprinkle over top of apples. Bake at 450° for ten minutes.

    Reduce heat to 350° and bake until done.
