  • 3 large tart apples
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/3 c. margarine, softened
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell

Directions

    Slice apples into pie shell.

    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.

    Sift 1/2 cup sugar with flour; cut in margarine and sprinkle mix on top of apples.

    Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and cook until apples are done and top is brown.
