Apple Crumb Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 apples, peeled and cut up
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar (add a little more sugar if 10-inch pie tin or apples are tart)
  • 9-inch pie shell
  • 1/2 c. sugar (can use part brown)
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine

Directions

    Mix the first 4 ingredients and put in pie shell.

    Sprinkle on topping made of remaining ingredients.

    Mix with pastry blender until fine.

    Put on top of apples.

    Bake at 350° for 40 minutes in regular oven or microwave 10 minutes and finish in convection oven at 325° for 20 minutes or regular oven at 350° until done and crust has browned.
