- 1 (Apple mix)
- 4 large Granny Smith (green) apples, seeded and sliced
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Golden syrup
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 (For topping)
- 3/4 cup Self raising flour
- 1/2 cup Desiccated coconut
- 1/2 cup Rolled oats
- 1/2 cup Soft brown sugar
- 100 grams Butter
Directions

1Pre heat oven to 180*C.

2In a large pan add apples, sugar, syrup and lemon juice.

3Cover and cook on low heat for around 10 minutes or until apples have softened.

4Remove from pan and spoon mixture into a well greased- small casserole dish.

5For crumble add flour, oats, coconut and sugar to a bowl and mix well.

6Melt the butter over and massage in to form a crumble.

7Sprinkle crumble over apples and place in oven.

8Bake for 25/30 minutes or until top is golden and crispy.

9Serve with cream, ice cream or both!
