Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 75 grams butter
- 1/2 tsp mixed spice or cinnamon
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- 2 tbsp demerara sugar (optional)
Directions

1Pre-heat oven too 190C conventional or 170C fan-forced.

2Mix all dry ingredients together and then rub in butter until mixture becomes crumbly.

3Peel and cut apples into wedges and place in oven proof dish.

4Drizzle with golden syrup.

5Spread the crumble mixture over the top of the apples.

6Sprinkle demerara sugar on top for an extra crunchy topping (optional).

7Place dish in the center of oven, bake for 40-45 minutes until apples are cooked.

8Serve while hot with vanilla ice cream or cream.
