  • 6 to 8 apples, sliced
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted

Directions

    Place apples, brown sugar and cinnamon in a greased 9 x 11-inch pan.

    Mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and egg. Crumble and put over apples.

    Pour melted butter over all.

    Bake at 350° until crust is brown and apples are done.
