- 3 lb. bag Jonathan apples
- 1/2 c. sugar
- cinnamon to taste
- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- 3 Tbsp. soft margarine
- 1 egg
Directions

1Slice apples into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.

2Mix together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and margarine.

3When mixed, add egg.

4Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle on top. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.

5Serve warm, not hot, with Cool Whip or ice cream.
