- 6 or more baking apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Arrange apples in shallow 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

2Sweeten to taste, using the brown sugar.

3Sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with butter.

4Combine flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.

5Add beaten egg and mix with a fork until crumbly.

6Pour over apples and shake so mixture will settle through and down.

7Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until apples are tender and top is brown.
