Apple Crunch Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. (3 oz. each) or 1 pkg. (6 oz.) strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 1/2 c. apple juice or water
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon (add to dry Jell-O)
  • 1 c. diced peeled apple
  • 1/2 c. diced celery
  • 1 (8 oz.) can drained crushed pineapple

Directions

    Dissolve Jell-O and cinnamon in boiling water.

    Add cold water and chill until thickened.
  3. 3
    Fold in apple, celery, pineapple and 1/4 cup chopped nuts, if desired.

    Spoon into 6 cup mold or bowl. Chill until firm.

    Makes 5 cups or 10 servings.
