  • 4 c. sliced apples
  • 2 tsp. (heaping) cinnamon
  • 1 slice lemon (squeeze)
  • 1/4 c. honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c. sesame seed
  • 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 1/4 c. cider

    Cut apples into a small greased baking pan; sprinkle with cinnamon.

    Squeeze the lemon over the apple/cinnamon.

    Cream honey and butter; mix in the grains and seed to make a crunchy topping. Sprinkle over the apples.

    Sprinkle cider on top before baking at 375° for 35 minutes.
