  • 1 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 to 3 c. chopped apple
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. golden raisins
  • 1 tsp. rum flavoring

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix oil and sugar in a bowl, then sift in dry ingredients. Add eggs, vanilla, apples, nuts and cinnamon. Mix well. Add raisins and rum flavoring, if desired. Bake in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan at 350° for 1 hour.
