- 1/2 c. water
- 1 box Betty Crocker apple spice cake mix
- 1/2 c. soft butter
- 1/3 c. sour cream
- 1 1/2 c. apples, chopped
- 1 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. water
Directions

1Mix all except brown sugar and 2 cups water with mixer on low until moistened.

2Mix on high speed 2 minutes.

3Bring brown sugar and 2 cups water to boil in a small saucepan.

4Grease a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.

5Layer apples and raisins.

6Spread cake mix over apples and raisins.

7Pour sugar water mixture over cake batter. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out dry.
