  • 6 to 8 tart cooking apples
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 c. white sugar
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. water

Directions

    Use favorite 2 crust pie pastry recipe. Divide into number of apples. Roll out.

    Place apple in center.

    Spoon 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar-cinnamon mixture into the cavity of pared, cored apple.

    Dot with butter.

    Wrap and seal.

    Place in baking dish in a 375° oven.
