- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/4 c. Crisco
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. cold water
Directions

1Combine flour and salt; mix well.

2Cut Crisco into flour with pastry blender.

3Add water and mix well and shape into ball. Divide into 6 portions.

4Roll out on floured board, large enough to cover cored apple completely.

5Place a peeled and cored apple onto prepared crust.

6Into center of apple fill with sugar, cinnamon and a dab of butter.

7Fold up crust to center of apple, dab with water to make crust thick.

8Bake in oven approximately 45 minutes at 400° or until lightly browned.
