    CUT IN 7 INCH SQUARES.

    SLICE APPLES, PUT IN CENTER OF EACH SQUART.

    TOP WITH SUGAR, CINNAMON, BUTTER AND SEAL.

    MIX 1 CUP SUGAR, 1 1/2 CUPS WATER AND A LITTLE BUTTER.

    BOIL FOR A FEW MINUTES.

    POUR OVER DUMPLINGS.
