- 5 large apples
- 1 can biscuits (10)
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine
- ground cinnamon
Directions

1Peel and quarter the apples.

2Roll the biscuits, one at a time, and cut in half. Roll biscuits around quarter of apple. Place in sheet cake pan.

3This will make 20 dumplings.

4Mix the sugar, water and vanilla.

5Let melt on warm burner and pour over apples.

6Melt the margarine and pour over the apples.

7Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake 1 hour at 350°.

8Good served hot with vanilla ice cream.
