  • 1/2 c. softened margarine
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Cut margarine into cake mix until crumbly.

    Pat mixture into ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan, building up slightly around the edge. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.

    Arrange pie filling on warm crust. Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle on apples.

    Blend sour cream and egg.

    Drizzle over apples.

    (Topping should not completely cover apples.)

    Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until edges are brown.
