  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 3 big apples, chopped
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Mix oil, sugar and eggs; beat well.

    Add flour, salt and soda; mix.

    Add vanilla, apples and pecans.

    Bake in tube pan that has been greased and floured at 350° for 1 hour.

    Should be brown and firm when done.
