  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon apple juice
  • 12 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup tart apple, chopped
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped

Directions

    Combine cream cheese,apple juice and nutmeg in mixing bowl, blend until smooth.

    Pour lemon juice over chopped apples and add to the creamed cheese mixture.

    Gently fold in 3/4c.of the pecans,then shape into a 6 inch log and roll in the remaining chopped nuts.

    Wrap in plastic and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.

    Slice and serve on crackers.
