  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. chopped apples
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Beat the egg until foamy.

    Add sugar and beat again.

    Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder and beat into the egg-sugar mixture. Blend in the apples, nuts and vanilla. Bake in a pie pan at 350° until the top is crisp, about 30 minutes.

    Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
