Apple or Plum Cake

- 1 x pastry dough prepared, cottage cheese and oil
- 3 pounds apples or plums
- 1 x sugar for sprinkling
Directions

1Roll out the pastry onto a greased baking sheet.

2FOR THE FRUIT TOPPING: peel and core the apples and cut into slices or quarters (if the apples are very large divide into eighths).

3If plums are used, rub them clean and then stone.

4Distribute the fruit evenly over the pastry.

5lay plums with the insides upwards.

6Fold a piece of greased paper a number of times and lay it against the pastry at the open side of the baking sheet.

7OVEN: pre-heat for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F, bake at 400F (200C).

8BAKING TIME: 15 to 25 min.

9After baking, when the cake has cooled somewhat, sprinkle with sugar.
