  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 (No. 2) can sliced pie apples or 6 medium tart fresh apples
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 c. unsifted flour
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar

Directions

    Blend together sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt; toss lightly with apples.

    Spoon into pastry-lined 9-inch pie plate.

    Combine butter, brown sugar and flour.

    Sprinkle over pie filling. Cover with lattice top.

    Bake at 425° for 35 to 40 minutes or until brown.
