- 6 to 8 Granny Smith apples, pared, cored and thinly sliced (6 c.)
- 3/4 to 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- dash of ground nutmeg (optional)
- dash of salt
- pastry for 2-crust 9-inch pie (Pillsbury)
Directions

1If apples lack tartness, sprinkle with about 1 tablespoon lemon juice.

2Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt; mix with apples.

3Line 9-inch pie plate with pastry.
