  • pastry for two crust pie
  • 6 or 7 apples, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. melted oleo
  • 1/3 c. Karo (blue label)

Directions

    Prepare pastry for two crust pie.

    Fill bottom shell with sliced apples.

    Combine remaining ingredients.

    Pour over apples. Cover with top crust and bake in 425° oven for 45 minutes or until crust is brown and apples are tender.

    Remove from oven.
