- 6 large apples
- 2 tsp. flour
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Line plate with rich pastry.

2Pare, core and cut apples.

3Fill pie plate.

4Mix the dry ingredients and lemon juice and sprinkle over the apples.

5Dot over with butter.

6Wet edges of under crust. Cover with upper crust, pressing the edges close together.

7Pinch into a fluted rim.

8Bake in a hot oven (450°) for 10 minutes, then in moderate oven (350°) for 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
