  • 5 apples medium
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • almond flakes to taste
  • golden raisins to taste
  • 1 3/8 cups flour
  • 1 cup port wine
  • 7/8 cup sugar
  • 1 base
  • 3 eggs
  • 7/8 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 3/8 cups flour

    Preheat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

    Saute thinly sliced apples in a pan with brown sugar, cinnamon, almonds, raisins and Port wine.

    Press pie crust into pie pan.

    Pierce pie crust base with a fork.

    Add apple mixture.

    In a bowl, beat eggs, sugar, butter and flour.

    Pour over apples.

    Bake in preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
