  • 4 lbs apples
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 tablespoons tapioca

Directions

    Put prepared apples in saucepan with 3/4 of sugar.

    Combine well.

    Place over high heat and boil one minute.

    Add rest of sugar and taioca, return to full boil for one minute, stirring constantly.

    Put into jars and seal or cool, put between pie shells and bake at 350 degrees until crust is golden brown.
