- 4 cups granny smith apples, spples peeled and sliced
- 34 cup sugar
- 14 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 pie crusts (already prepared)
- 14 cup butter
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons half-and-half
- 12 cup chopped pecans
Directions

1Prepare bottom crust in plate.

2Heat oven to 425 degrees ferenheit.

3Combine filling ingredients and pour into pie shell.

4Dot with 2 T butter.

5Place top crust over; seal and flute edge.

6Bake 35-45 minutes, or until golden.

7Remove from oven and set aside leaving oven on.

8Blend all topping ingredients and warm in saucepan on stove top.

9Pour on pie.

10Place on cookie sheet and bake for additional 2-4 minutes.

11Cool 2 hours before eating.
