- 2 c. flour
- 5 Tbsp. Crisco
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. cinnamon
- 2 c. chopped apples
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2/3 c. milk
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients together; cut in Crisco.

2Add milk and mix well.

3Roll dough out to about 1/4-inch thick.

4Keep in oblong shape.

5Spread with soft butter, then a generous amount of chopped apples and sugar.

6Sprinkle with cinnamon and roll tightly.

7Cut into slices about 2-inch thick and place in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.

8Keep slices close together.

9On top of each roll, place a slice of apple.

10Bake in a 350° oven for about 30 minutes. Jonathan apples do well!
