- 4 c. chopped apples
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. water
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. Crisco
Directions

1Mix flour, shortening and enough cold water to make a stiff dough.

2Divide dough in half and roll out thin.

3Spread each half with 2 cups apples and roll up.

4Repeat with other half.

5Put rolls in 9 x 13-inch pan.

6Bring to boil in a pan the white sugar, brown sugar, water and margarine.

7Pour this over the rolls in pan.

8Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

9Dip liquid on pastry once or twice while baking.
