- 2 apples medium, peeled and chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 13/16 cup sliced almonds
- 1 1/2 cups rye flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 11/16 cup brown sugar
- 2 3/8 tablespoons honey
- 5 1/4 tablespoons butter
- 5 1/16 tablespoons milk
- 2 medium eggs
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.

2Place the apple into a pan with the cinnamon. Mix well.

3Combine the almonds, flour, and baking powder.

4Melt the sugar with the honey and butter until dissolved, heating slightly.

5Add the milk and eggs to the sugar mixture and then stir in the dry ingredients. Add the apple.

6Pour the batter into a rectangular baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
