  • 13/16 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 1/2 cups rye flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 11/16 cup brown sugar
  • 2 3/8 tablespoons honey
  • 5 1/4 tablespoons butter
  • 5 1/16 tablespoons milk
  • 2 medium eggs

    Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.

    Place the apple into a pan with the cinnamon. Mix well.

    Combine the almonds, flour, and baking powder.

    Melt the sugar with the honey and butter until dissolved, heating slightly.

    Add the milk and eggs to the sugar mixture and then stir in the dry ingredients. Add the apple.
