  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, not drained
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 3 oz. pkg. lemon jello
  • 8 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. chopped unpeeled apple
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts/pecans)
  • 1 c. Cool Whip

Directions

    Mix together the pineapple and sugar.

    Boil for 3 minutes. Add the lemon jello and the softened cream cheese.

    Cool thoroughly.

    Add the chopped celery, apple, nuts and Cool Whip. Spread in an 8 x 12-inch baking dish.

    Chill overnight.
