Apple Sausage Dressing

  • 2 c. pork sausage
  • 2 c. diced apples
  • 2 c. cracker crumbs
  • 2 c. white bread
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 medium size onion
  • 3 Tbsp. sage
  • 3 ribs celery
  • 2 c. corn bread

Directions

    Dice celery and onion; cook in chicken broth until done.

    Mix sausage, apples, cracker crumbs and crumbled corn bread.

    Add the onion and celery.

    Add the sage the last thing to suit your taste. I bake this separately at 400°.

    I make gravy and put some on top of dressing when it is served.
