Ingredients: 3 to 4 Delicious or Winesap apples, pared, cored and diced to measure 3 c.; 2 lb. pork sausage; 1 onion, chopped; 2 c. soft bread crumbs; 1 egg, slightly beaten; 1/2 tsp. salt; dash of pepper; 1 onion, sliced; 2 apples; 1/4 c. butter; parsley; pitted ripe olives (optional)

2 c. soft bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 onion, sliced
2 apples
1/4 c. butter
parsley
pitted ripe olives (optional)

Directions

Roll out sausage between two sheets of heavy waxed paper into a 12-inch square.

Mix together diced apples, chopped onion, bread crumbs, egg and seasonings.
