- water
- 1 (6 oz.) can apple juice, thawed
- 3 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. old-fashioned oats
- 1 (8 oz.) carton apple-cinnamon-flavored yogurt
- chopped apple (optional)
Directions

1Add enough water to apple juice to make 5 cups.

2Combine with brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in a large pan.

3Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

4Gradually stir in oats.

5Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.

6Reduce heat to simmer; cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes or until tender and a good consistency.

7Serve with a dollop of yogurt and apple, if you wish.

8Makes 4 servings.
