  • 1 12 lbs medium shrimp, cooked and peeled
  • 14 cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons chopped ginger
  • 14 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple juice
  • 1 12 teaspoons salt
  • 2 -3 sliced green onions

    Heat the soy sauce to boiling.

    Stir in the ginger and simmer about 5 minutes.

    Stir in the vinegar, sugar, juice, and salt.

    Pour the mixture over the shrimp and refrigerate 2-3 hours.

    Sprinkle with the onions before serving.
