- 1/2 c. sugar
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 6 large apples, peeled and sliced
- 6 sheets phyllo dough
- 1/4 lb. butter, melted
Directions

1Spread (brush) phyllo dough with melted butter.

2Cover with damp paper towels.

3Mix fruit, sugar and lemon juice.

4Spread fruit down center of phyllo dough.

5Roll jelly roll style.

6Make 3 diagonal knife slits.

7Spread top with melted butter.

8Sprinkle top with sugar.

9Bake at 370° until brown and until apples pierced with fork are tender.
