  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 2 c. chopped red cooking apples
  • 2 c. chopped green cooking apples
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 16 oz. herb flavored stuffing mix
  • 1 c. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground pepper
  • 2 3/4 c. apple cider

    Melt margarine in skillet.

    Add onions, celery, apples and raisins.

    Cook and stir frequently for 5 minutes until softened. Remove from heat; stir in stuffing mix and seasonings.

    Add cider to moisten.

    Put into greased casserole.

    Bake, covered, at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.

    For crisp top, remove cover the last 5 minutes.
