  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 4 large ribs celery, chopped
  • 2 medium sweet Rome Beauty apples, cored and chopped
  • 2 medium tart green Granny Smith apples, cored and chopped
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. herb flavored stuffing mix
  • 1 c. fresh or dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 1/2 c. apple cider

Directions

    In a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, melt margarine. Add onions, celery and apples. Cook 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until softened. Remove from heat; stir in stuffing mix and seasonings. Add cider, stirring just to moisten.
