- 8 McIntosh apples (approximate, more or less depending on size)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- pie crust (Flako or homemade)
Directions

1Cut apples in half; peel and core.

2Line pie crust with halved apples round side up.

3Make second layer of halved apples.

4Some of the apples may have to be quartered to fill in the spaces. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and butter (cut and dot pie).

5Bake at 425° for 45 minutes or until apples and crust are golden brown.
