  • 8 McIntosh apples (approximate, more or less depending on size)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • pie crust (Flako or homemade)

Directions

    Cut apples in half; peel and core.

    Line pie crust with halved apples round side up.

    Make second layer of halved apples.
  4. 4
    Some of the apples may have to be quartered to fill in the spaces. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and butter (cut and dot pie).

    Bake at 425° for 45 minutes or until apples and crust are golden brown.
