  • 12 cup butter
  • 13 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 12 cup strawberry jam or 12 cup raspberry jam
  • 250 g cream cheese, softened
  • 12 cup sugar

  • 4 cups apples, peeled, cored and sliced

    Cream together butter and sugar; add flour and stir until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

    Press into bottom of and one-inch up sides of the 9-inch square springform pan.

    Spread jam on the bottom crust.

    Mix the filling ingredients until smooth and spread evenly over base.

    Top apple slices with sugar and cinnamon and arrange gently over filling.
