  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

  • 3 c. chopped apples
  • 2 c. walnuts, chopped

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Sift flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and mace.

    Stir in apples and nuts.

    Bake in a tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325°.
