- 2 (16 oz.) cans yams, drained and cut to bite size
- 1 (16 oz.) can applesauce
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. dark brown sugar, tightly packed
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 3/4 c. instant rolled oats
Directions

1Mix together cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, flour and oats. Cut in butter until crumbly.

2Preheat oven to 350°.

3In lightly greased 2-quart casserole, spread 1/2 of applesauce.

4Spoon 3 tablespoons of the topping over the applesauce.

5Evenly arrange the potatoes over the base.

6Add remaining applesauce to cover yams.

7Add the rest of the topping and spread evenly.

8Bake 30 to 40 minutes until heated through.
