- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
Directions

1Heat apples and water to boiling over medium heat; reduce heat.

2Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, to break up apples, until tender (5 to 10 minutes).

3Stir in remaining ingredients.

4Heat to boiling; boil and stir one minute.

5Makes about 4 cups.

6Can be easily doubled or quadrupled for canning, just pour into hot jars.
