  • 8 cups apples, peeled and chopped
  • 4 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 12 cups apple cider
  • 13 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 14 teaspoon ginger
  • 14 teaspoon allspice
  • 14 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 34 teaspoon cinnamon

    Add all ingredients to a pan.

    Bring to a boil and then turn down to a simmer, stirring frequently - for about 20 minutes - or until mushy.

    Remove from heat and use a stick blender or potato masher to smash into desired consistency.
